    *_ABOUT THIS POSITION_**:* The Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth is seeking candidates for a Cashier position in our Cashiers Division. The Cashiers Division is responsible for processing and reconciling daily revenue transactions with various divisions within the office. _ _ *_REPRESENTATIVE TASKS_**:* _ _ · Reconcile daily revenue with receipt slips, cash box and reports for the various office divisions;__ · Prepare and assist in the preparation of the daily deposit;__ · Process electronic payments;__ · Process all documents and checks daily;__ · Record returned payments and ensure that the payee is notified;__ · Record all replacement payments in the billing program and prepare a separate deposit;__ · Maintenance of all documents and files;__ · Research of payment records;__ · Assist in the day to day operations of the division such as answering phones, responding to general inquires through email and assisting walk-in customers;__ · Any other related duties may be required.__ *_ABOUT US:_* The Secretary of the Commonwealth's office comprises 23 departments across 19 locations around Massachusetts.
