    Driver Education Program Teacher

    Dates and Times:

    Classes start June 30th and continue through July 24th. (July 25th, emergency make-up date.)

     

    Classes will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 3:20 p.m.

    Classes will run as follows:

    + June 30 - July 3 (M-Th)

    + July 7-10 (M-Th)

    + July 14-17 (M-Th)

    + July 21- July 24 (M-Th)

     

    Salary LSCTA contact @ $42.62 per hour.

     

    All positions are contingent upon enrollment, maintenance of enrollment and student attendance. Teachers will not be paid when students are absent. If attendance drops, staff requirements will be adjusted accordingly. The expectation is that teachers will be present for all days. Lapses in attendance will be considered when hiring for future summer employement opportunities.

    Room and Curriculum Preparation:

    Monday, June 30, 2025 -Two hours for room and curriculum preparation are available. Upon receiving the Summer School assignment, you must email Christine Starks indicating that you will come to the High School from 3:30 - 5:50 p.m on Monday, June 30, 2025 for room preparation.Your intentions to participate in room and curriculum preparation are due by Friday, June 20, 2025. Class lists and other pertinent information will be available through email. You will not be compensated without prior notification.

     

    All candidates for the posted position must possess New York State certification in the required grade/subject area.Only teachers holding a permanent position with the district can apply for this posting.Specific questions about the announced opening should be directed to the W.T.
