    General Description:

    The Manager, Global Sourcing will report to the Sr. Sourcing Director and be based in Huntersville, NC. You will be responsible for several component categories comprising of resin, metal and glass supporting the Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Rubbermaid, and Oster brands. You and your team will develop, implement and drive strategies that deliver a competitive advantage, productivity gains, working capital improvements, lead-time reductions, in-bound service level improvement, supplier quality goals, and support new product development projects. You will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and leadership to two (2) direct reports supporting these categories.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Establish, analyze and optimize sourcing strategy for multiple component categories.

    + Manage supplier performance metrics such as contract and price negotiation, working capital efficiency, geographic supply diversification and risk mitigation, and single-supplier dependency reduction.

    + Develop and maintain supplier relationships that support supplier KPI delivery.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional team such as supply & demand planning, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, quality and finance to drive best NPD processes.

    + Partner with regional sourcing team to drive project execution and continuous supplier development that aligns with global supplier strategy.

    + Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, NPD supplier selection, supplier consolidation/ introduction, savings negotiation, on time delivery, Engineering Changes, Quality Improvements.

    + Support Supplier Quality and Global Compliance team by ensuring supplier compliance.

    Job Requirements

    + 5+ years of sourcing experience or demonstrated performance managing comparable scope of responsibility.

    + Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain, engineering or related field.

    + Demonstrated track record of leading teams and delivering results against performance metrics.

    + Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions

    + Strong project management and communication skills.

    + Highly motivated and able to drive results independently and as part of a team.

    + Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 15%.

    + Proven leadership skills and talent development skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.
