    **Looking for variety and technical challenges?** We're searching for a skilled TIG welder to support our Specialty Construction division, an integral part of what makes us one of the fastest growing companies!

    Projects variety examples:

    + Welding carbon steel for an international ice cream manufacturer.

    + Support the welding of stainless steel piping for the largest manufacturer of home improvement projects.

    Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

    + Weld pipe in a variety of positions: horizontal, vertical, overhead.

    + Weld high pressure pipe, steam line or gas line, or process pipe.

    + Fit his/her own pipe.

    + Read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.

    + Perform layout, cutting, and welding of plate and pipe.

    + Work independently or as part of a team with no supervision and make sound decisions and solve technical problems.

    + Operate various metal forming and cutting machines such as Rollers, Shears, Iron Worker, Brakes, Drill Presses, and Saws.

    + Rigging and Operation of lifting and material handling equipment such as Overhead Cranes, Gantries, and Forklifts.

    You'll be a perfect fit if you have:

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing TIG Welding processes.

    + 6G Certification is strongly preferred. Must pass 6G pipe welding test

    + AWS and ASME certifications are preferred, however not a requirement. Candidates will be tested on ASME piping procedures during interview process.

    + Preferably have experience with either high pressure pipe, steam line or gas line, or process pipe welding

    + Knowledgeable on gasses and what types of filler metals can be used on a project.

    Compensation and benefits offering:

    + Pay: $25 - $38 an hour (based on experience)

    + Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
