    The New Jewish Home (Mamaroneck, NY)


    The Food and Nutrition Department in Sarah Neuman Nursing Home of The New Jewish Home is searching for a full time Dietary Technician to join our team. This position is needed for our Mamaroneck location.

    The Dietary technician will be responsible for the delivery of the following functions:

    + Complete Nutrition Assessments, MDS and Care Plans as scheduled.

    + Review monthly and weekly weights, document on weight changes.

    + Maintain documentation of weights for each unit

    + Attend and participate in resident care plan meeting

    + Coordinate individualized menus in accordance with resident's diet order.

    + Conduct meal Rounds

    + Associate Degree in Dietetics or possess a Bachelor's degree and is DTR.

    + Have 1 year experience as Dietary Technician, preferably in Long Term Care.

    + Computer literate and proficiency with EM software.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of Therapeutic diets
