Job Description:

+ The Test Engineer P&C 1 position requires 3-7 years of related experience.

+ Job responsibilities include developing and executing detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems to validate their performance, safety, and reliability against specified requirements.

+ Implementing and managing testing procedures, tools, and methodologies to ensure thorough evaluation of P&C systems in various scenarios and conditions.

+ Collaborating with design engineers, developers, and product managers to understand system functionalities and derive accurate and meaningful test criteria.

+ Analyzing test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues in P&C system performance.

+ Providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders.

+ Recommending modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems based on test results and performance analysis.

+ Ensuring that testing activities are in compliance with relevant regulatory standards, industry practices, and organizational quality assurance protocols.

+ Creating comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, analyses, and recommendations to facilitate transparent communication and future reference.

+ Participating in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues uncovered during testing.

+ Collaborating with technical teams to facilitate solutions, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment and apparatus to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.

+ Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the refinement of testing methodologies, and staying updated with technological advancements and industry trends related to P&C systems and testing and building effective relationships with plant staff.

+ Design engineering staff and/or vendors.

Education:

An accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
