Job Summary and Qualifications

The Certified Surgical Technologist – Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) - CVOR provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions, including saphenous vein harvesting, that will help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. Minimum Qualifications:

+ Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by an accredited agency.

+ Current Certification as Surgical First Assistant through a nationally accredited certification agency.

+ High School Diploma

+ BLS certification required

+ Current acute clinical care experience preferred

+ Current experience in Surgery as a CST

+ Current experience in CVOR and vein harvesting
