Job Description:

The person hired for the position of Maintenance Mechanic I will work at our 3M Springfield, MO Site.

Responsibilities/ The Impact You Will Make in this Role:

As a(n) Maintenance Mechanic I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Responsibilities:

+ Understanding and following all safety policies and procedures

+ Maintaining electronic and electrical equipment and components

+ Programing/troubleshooting using programming devices.

+ Installing/upgrading equipment

+ Calibrating and verifying metrology equipment.

Your Skills and Expertise :

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Required:

+ High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

+ Two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

+ Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate of pay range for this position is $30.97 to $35.84. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
