    _**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT FUNDING**_

    Amentum is seeking a **Quality Assurance Technician / Software Tester** to join our Portsmouth, Virginia team. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, debugging, integration, and implementation of systems in support of the Warfighter.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Debug and test application code.

    + Coordinate with the development team.

    + Construct test cases.

    + Assist with software documentation

    + Use aptitude to learn new technical tools required for the role.

    + Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + **Active SECRET US Government Clearance.** Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Active Secret Clearance.

    + Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret US Government Clearance.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    + Three (3) years of recent and relevant software testing experience.

    + Ability to travel as required.

    + Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational software.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Current Security+ CE certification

    **HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000+** (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
