Administrative Assistant- Accounting
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Diversified secretarial position, providing administrative support to Company Controller
+ Assist Controller with the following:
+ Accounts Receivable
+ Billing
+ Accounts Payable
+ Payroll
+ Process Purchase Card (P-Card) accounts for Region
+ Track and Renew Equipment Licenses
+ Support management in special projects
+ Prioritize daily issues; manage e-mail correspondence and other communication.
+ Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements.
+ Prepare/maintain comprehensive contact/general information lists for customers/employees, etc.
+ Coordinate and manage the preparation of presentation materials.
+ Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
+ Set-up/maintain extensive files for several projects in various stages of development.
+ Update/maintain standardized correspondence/provide administrative support in the preparation of bid proposals.
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must have strong proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
+ Must have 1-2 years accounting experience, construction accounting experience is preferred
+ Must have excellent planning and communication skills
+ Must be detail Oriented with exemplary organization skills
+ Must have a high level of confidence, integrity and motivation
+ Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
+ Must have proven confidentiality and high ethical standards
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook e-mail and calendars/scheduling and internet.
+ Must be able to work overtime when needed
+ Must have a positive can-do approach to assignments
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
