    _SUMMARY_

    Hennepin Healthcare has a current opening for a EMS Instructor TEMPO position in our EMS Education department. This casual position will work days and evenings.

    Under general supervision, teach designated tactical emergency medical care topics to members of local businesses, health care facilities, public safety agencies, and other organizations.

    _RESPONSIBILITIES_

    * Teach designated emergency medical care topics to members of law enforcement & public safety agencies, businesses, health care facilities, and other organizations

    * Conduct teaching sessions, evaluate student performance, and provide effective feedback with divergent student groups

    * Set-up and maintain instructional equipment as needed

    * Under general supervision, assist with the development of curriculums and programs designed to meet identified needs

    * Perform other duties as assigned

    _QUALIFICATIONS_

    Minimum Qualifications:

    * Currently certified as an EMR, EMT, or Paramedic in the State of Minnesota with two years of law enforcement or one year military combat experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    * American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor or equivalent
