    FTI is looking for a Front End Software Developer to join our growting team.     Candidates must be in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL There is some allowance for remote work, but there is a requirement for candiates to report on-site as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house).

    + Serve as technical expert on development projects.

    + Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.

    + Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

    + Support, maintain, and document software functionality.

    + Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.

    + Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.

    + Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

    + Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.

    Education/Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or similar field of study.

    + 5+ years of Front End development experience.

    + Experience with Front-End web development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML.

    + Experience with the Vue.js framework.

    + Experience with Agile development, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.

    + Experience with creating REST calls with a Node.js library, including Express.js or Axios.

    + Experience with supporting junior and mid-level engineers.

    + Experience with designing new UI features.

    + Experience with unit testing.

    + Knowledge of REST APIs.

    + Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active TS/SCI Clearance.

    + Some travel may be required with this role.
