    H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Designer in our Annapolis, Maryland Office.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional electrical engineer

    + Provide CAD support utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation for electrical system design for movable bridges and transportation structures

    + Support the electrical department with design concepts and calculations for power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.

    + Perform field inspections of electrical systems

    + Write inspection reports to document system condition with repair recommendations

    + Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems

    Requirements

    + BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

    + Zero to two years of electrical engineering experience

    + Knowledge and interest in industrial controls, power distribution, and lighting

    + Experience with the electrical construction industry (residential, commercial building, lighting, etc.) (preferred)

    + Hands-on experience (preferred)

    + Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail

    + Experience with CAD to develop engineering drawings, AutoCAD or Microstation (preferred)

     

    Benefits

     

    Salary range— $72,000-$75,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
