    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural (Bridge) EIT in our Portland office.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer

    + Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction

    + Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks

    + Occasional field site visits

    Requirements

    + BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred)

    + EIT Certification (preferred)

    + Zero to three years of experience

    + MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience (preferred)

    + Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements, familiarity with local market design and detail requirements (preferred)

    + Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
