Position Profile

The Massage Therapist promotes patient/family-centered care through exemplary customer service and providing massage therapy services to provide comfort and relaxation. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

+ Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships.

+ Provides accurate observation of patient needs.

+ Provides quality massage therapy.

+ Assures patient safety.

+ Provides effective patient/family teaching.

+ Collaborates in providing patient care.

+ Creates timely and accurate documentation.

+ Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently.

+ Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills.

+ Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

+ High school diploma.

+ Graduate of accredited massage therapy program.

+ Obtained Arizona Massage Therapy licensure.

+ Valid Arizona drivers license and insured automobile.

+ Minimum of one year of experience in massage therapy with a focus on pain relief.

+ Previous experience with end of life care, preferred.
