Stipend Opportunity: ESY Curriculum Training- Related Services Recording
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year (ESY) offers specialized services to students with disabilities. The decision to provide ESY is made by the IEP Team, who assesses the necessity to minimize substantial regression and reduce substantial recoupment, ensuring effective progress for the students. The IEP Team also evaluates the level of needs and recommends specific IEP services during ESY based on individual student requirements. The determination of ESY services is made according to the IEP Team's identification, focusing on the students' individual needs and aligning with the delivery of targeted ESY goals and objectives.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Related Service Providers to assist our team by recording a short discipline specific video describing one of the following areas: Feeding and Swallowing safety and support, Assistive Technology/Augmentative and Alternative Communication and Hearing Assistive Technology . In this exciting role, you will record an ESY training that site coordinators will play during their site specific ESY PD.
+ Develop a slide presentation with key information about designated area of need
+ Record the presentation (it will be uploaded to the curriculum google classroom to be available to all staff to reference).
+ Provide a copy of the slide presentation to accompany the recording.
Qualifications - Required:
+ Master's degree in a related service.
+ Relevant professional experience and knowledge in specific area (feeding and swallowing, AT/AAC or Hearing).
+ Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation:
There will be 3 stipends for a flat rate of $200 for work outside the working day to be completed by May 31, 2025.
