Job Description Summary

The principal role of the Warehouse Specialist is to manage all activities around shipping from Manufacturing, Ensure Trade Compliance, and provide on demand support of warehouse team. Accountable to internal customers' needs and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to.

Job Description

Responsibilities-

+ Responsible for all activities around shipping

+ Shipping items in ERP system/Material transactions

+ Coordination of shipments including paperwork

+ Register shipments by freight forwarder

+ Ensure shipment on time and high quality of shipment by having lowest price

+ Follow up on shipment issues

+ Internal and external contact person for all shipping questions

+ Ensure Trade Compliance, lead AEO program

+ Importation/Exportation including necessary paperwork

+ Creation of tax codes

+ Work with global teams on global initiatives

+ Perform warehouse distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures

Qualifications-

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ 2 years export operations experience, or order management of freight forwarder operations experience.

+ Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

Desired Characteristics-

+ Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management

+ Minimum of 3 years of operational logistics, import/export and/or customs expertise.

+ Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures.

+ Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization

+ Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments

+ Experience working in a compliant supply chain

+ Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

+ Oracle order management experience.
