    Laser Eye Institute is seeking an Ophthalmic technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing various diagnostic tests and assisting the physicians during eye exams and surgical procedures.     Responsibilities

    + Perform accurate and thorough diagnostic tests

    + Take patient histories and document all findings accurately in electronic medical records system

    + Provide patient education on preoperative and postoperative instructions, including medication use and restrictions

    + Maintain and clean ophthalmic equipment and instruments

    Requirements

    + Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ophthalmology

    + Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and medications

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    + Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
