Responsibilities

+ Assist physicians in exams and minor surgical procedures

+ Prepare patients for procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories

+ Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under physician supervision

+ Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens for laboratory testing

+ Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records

+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred

+ Prior experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting

+ Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

+ Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records

+ Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
