Brief Description of Duties:
The Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance the effectiveness of our programs serving adult learners in the Syracuse community.
The Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President of the Syracuse EOC and will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive assessment and evaluation systems across our institution.
In this role, you will lead efforts to establish data-driven decision-making processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Developing assessment plans
+ Managing data collection and analysis, evaluating program effectiveness, facilitating professional development
+ Supervision of strategic departments, and engaging with diverse stakeholders both within and outside our institution. Supervision of strategic departments
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, along with a demonstrated commitment to serving adult learners and urban populations.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in education, assessment, research, or a related field
+ Experience in institutional research and assessment.
+ Strong analytical and data management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven commitment to serving the underserved.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience working with adult learners, knowledge of accreditation processes, familiarity with assessment software and tools
+ Experience in educational program evaluation and understanding of the SUNY system and EOC structure.
