    Required Skills:

    SiteOps Data Center Capacity Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Create and improve global standards for processes, workflow and automation roadmaps for software automation that facilitate deployment, maintaining and decommissioning of server hardware at scale.

    2. Work with hardware and software engineering teams and vendors to help resolve complex technical issues that affect the computing infrastructure.

    3. Plan, lead and collaborate with cross-functional data center teams to deliver complex data center infrastructure capacity projects, taking into account the interdependencies of production resiliency, power, cooling, network, server and application layers.

    4. Data trending, analysis and interpretation of systemic issues that impact fleet uptime and utilization.

    5. Perform root cause analysis of complex technical and engineering issues and drive resolution.

    6. Build cross-functional relationships and have the ability to influence policies and procedures to improve regional/global data center operations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

    9. 1. Networking, Hardware, or OS repair

    10. 2. Linux, UNIX or other server hardware support

    11. 3. Technologies HTTP, DNS, RAID, and DHCP

    12. 4. Project planning

    13. 5. Utilizing data analysis to identify opportunities for Process Improvement

    14. 6. Diagnosing and resolving software provisioning issues

    15. 7. Process ownership and development and systems development

    16. 8. Enterprise level networking, server, and storage installs.

    Public Compensation:

    $117,104/year to $146,080/year + bonus + equity + benefits
