Wayne State University is searching for an experiencedAssistant/Associate/ Full Professor - Tenure/Tenure-Track College of Nursingat its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):

-Develop and maintain a strong program of research

-Seek external grant funding

-Publish in nationally recognized journals

-Prepare, teach and evaluate assigned courses

-Use teaching strategies appropriate to learning needs

-Participate in College and University committees

-Perform related duties as assigned

Unique duties:

Qualifications:

-PhD required graduate degree in nursing required

-Previous teaching experience at baccalaureate or higher degree level

-Strong program of externally funded research
