Title: LVCG Technician

Clearance: Secret

Job Function:

Serve as a subject matter expert on designated Live/Virtual/Constructive/Gaming systems used to support training.

Responsibilities:

+ Performing system management and system administration functions supporting a distributed computing environment consisting of military simulations and Gaming systems (e.g. JLCCTC WARSIM JLVC/JCATS Low Overhead simulations such as LOTS/DXTRS and Gaming systems such as VBS3) and integrate these systems with Command-and-Control Systems / Mission Command Systems (MCS) in order to support training requirements for military units ranging from battalion to echelons above corps

+ Provides installation maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware

+ Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

+ Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems

+ Set up simulation system administrator and service accounts

+ Participates in special projects as required

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of related work experience

+ Active Secret security clearance

+ Knowledge of both information technology and simulations systems

+ Knowledge of Army War Fighting Functions Army LVCG simulation technical operations and functional operations

+ Superb communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the principles methods and techniques used in information system troubleshooting and support

+ Comprehensive knowledge of related hardware and software

**Education:** AA/AS in a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education technical certifications or training

**Certifications:** Meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II minimum requirements or the minimum equivalent DoD 8140 DCWF requirements
