Quality Assurance Specialist – IT QA & QC Services
About the Role:
We are seeking ahighly skilled Quality Assurance Specialistwith a strong background in ITQuality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) services. This role requires expertise intest design, automated testing, defect management, and performance testingto ensure high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancingsoftware reliability, functionality, and user experienceacross multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Design & Planning
+ Developcomprehensive test plans and test casesbased on project requirements.
+ Identifytest scenarios, test data, and acceptance criteriafor various testing phases.
Testing Execution & Automation
+ Performblack-box and grey-box testingto validate functionality and system behavior.
+ Conductautomated regression testingto ensure seamless software updates.
+ Executeperformance testingto assess system stability under different conditions.
+ Performmobile and tablet testingto validate cross-device functionality.
Defect Management & Tracking
+ Identify, document, and track defects usingindustry-standard defect management tools.
+ Collaborate with development teams toanalyze, prioritize, and resolve issuesefficiently.
Test Documentation & Reporting
+ Maintaindetailed test reports, logs, and dashboardsto track testing progress and results.
+ Ensure compliance withQA standards, best practices, and project requirements.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Knowledge Transfer
+ Support and facilitateUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)with stakeholders.
+ Providetraining and knowledge transferon testing processes and tools to team members.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5-10 yearsof experience in IT Quality Assurance & Testing.Strong knowledge ofQA methodologies, tools, and best practices.Proficiency intest automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, Appium, etc.).Experience indefect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, etc.).Hands-on experience withmobile and tablet application testing. Familiarity withperformance testing and load testing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Certifications such asISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA credentials.? Experience withAgile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.? Knowledge ofscripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
