Parts Clerk

Transdev in St. Clair, Michigan is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk performs basic vehicle servicing, cleaning and fueling with limited supervision. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

+ Competitive compensation package of minimum $19.00 – Maximum $25.00

Benefits include:

+ Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:

+ Order, receive and stock parts; maintains storage area

+ Computer data entry & pulling reports

+ Maintain files and other related records

+ Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 3-5 years of parts or vehicle maintenance experience preferred.

+ Strong data entry skills.

+ Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

+ Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

+ The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

+ Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.

+ Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

+ Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

+ Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
