    Job Descriptions:

    We are currently seeking an Editor and Writer in El Segundo, CA. They will provide expertise to accomplish a broad range of A&AS in support of SDACP, BMC3, and mission partner weapon system life cycle execution. The Editor and Writer will provide engineering, program management, contracting, logistics, operations, and administrative support to the Government throughout the life cycle of any effort.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    + Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.

    + Gather, develop, and check the accuracy of information from a wide range of sources, to include but not limited to the Acquisition Deltas and staff organizations.

    + Analyze and recommend pertinent information, the most logical and effective use of the information, and the overall length and tone of the message based upon the objectives of the communication event and the audience.

    + Coordinate with the Government to ensure consistency of messages for internal and external audiences.

    + Assist in determining the overall organization of the presentation and edit the information for clarity and accuracy.

    + Perform additional research and provide recommendations on submissions from other staff activities to organize, balance, and apply a consistent sense of style, grammar, and flow to the finished product.

    + Prepare and arrange graphics to support presentations, as necessary.

    + Coordinate with the Government to ensure accuracy and consistency of messages.

    Required Experience:

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 12 years experience in Technical Writing

     

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BA/BS required

    SPECIALIZED TOOL EXPERIENCE: Demo link is required

    SECURITY CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizen, TS/SCI eligible

     

    In compliance with California’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $130,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
