Business Analyst Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Consultant to support Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and IT Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives. This role will involve conducting in-depth business impact analysis, identifying process improvements, and ensuring the successful alignment of IT and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity Management (BCM) Analysis
+ Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical business functions, systems, and vulnerabilities.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) for key business processes.
+ Analyze and document current DR/BCM processes, identifying inefficiencies and gaps for improvement.
+ Develop comprehensive DR/BCM strategies, including risk mitigation measures and business process recovery strategies.
+ Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather DR/BCM requirements and input.
+ Identify and document business process dependencies, ensuring effective recovery planning.
+ Evaluate and recommend DR/BCM tools, technologies, and solutions to enhance preparedness.
+ Conduct cost-benefit analysis to assess the financial impact of DR/BCM initiatives.
+ Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and DR/BCM technology solutions.
+ Provide guidance and support for DR/BCM implementation, including testing, training, awareness programs, and recovery procedure creation.
IT PMO Business Analysis & Project Support
+ Work with the IT PMO to define and implement project management standards and best practices.
+ Gather and document business requirements for IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to assess project viability and make recommendations.
+ Assist in the development of project charters, scope statements, and project plans, ensuring clarity in objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
