    Join Sodexo Energy & Resources as a Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager II!

     

    Are you ready to lead in a dynamic and growing environment? Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a skilled **Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager II** to oversee operations for one of our premier Oil & Gas clients in **El Segundo, CA** . In this position you'll have oversight of five locations (El Segundo, San Diego, Van Nuys, Montebello, CA and Huntington Beach). Your base will be El Segundo, but you will travel to the other four sites. You will also get the opportunity to be part of a company that values growth, innovation, and collaboration, and work on impactful projects within the Oil & Gas sector.

    What You'll Do

    + Supervise hard services operations and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service.

    + Collaborate with both on-site and off-site teams to drive operational excellence.

    + Conduct and schedule preventive maintenance checks, ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently.

    + Lead and mentor a team of dedicated technicians, fostering growth and development.

    + Procure necessary repair parts and coordinate maintenance schedules with external vendors.

    + Manage inventory supplies for the mechanical and janitorial teams, maintaining optimal stock levels.

    + **Proven Leadership:** Demonstrated success in facilities management with measurable results.

    + **Technical Expertise:** Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety systems, structural, architectural, landscape, and energy management.

    + **Team Leadership:** Ability to inspire and develop team members, creating a culture of excellence.

    + **Certifications:** Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus.

    + **Systems Knowledge:** Experience with Maximo is a plus.

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 5 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
