Summary: Executes job tasks as it relates to meeting customer expectations, quality and timeline to deliver manufacturing ready files for printing plate production

Essential Functions:

+ Evaluates process imagery to be used for packaging and determines proper separation techniques

+ Executes separations using Photoshop to control color after applying press profile

+ Demonstrates knowledge of using Photoshop adjustment layers to control color breaks

+ Reviews separations to match supplied color standard, designer proof, or product

+ Performs quality assurance tasks associated with the execution of the job

+ Evaluates files and attaches appropriate digital asset to VT.

+ Accurately tracks job tasks, materials and time while executing requested work.

+ Outputs contract color proofs with correct color profile and descriptor tag.

+ Performs quality assurance tasks associated with the proofs accuracy to customer expectations

+ Performs other related work as required.

Education and Experience:

+ Bachelors Degree in Graphic Communications or Design or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Three years of progressively responsible electronic prepress experience;

Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics: (Organizational skills, PC experience, communication skills, leadership capabilities, etc.)

+ Effective in completion of multi-faceted projects in conjunction with daily activities.

+ Ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible.

+ Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

+ Resourceful and well organized.

+ Experience with photopolymer plate making and flexographic print process
