• Estimator - Fire Life Safety

    Albireo Energy, LLC (San Diego, CA)


    + Create accurate material and labor cost estimates for fire alarm, access control, video surveillance systems, and other specialty systems.

    + Prepare scope of work proposals, effectively articulating the specifications to prospective clients.

    + Manage a bid calendar and estimate folders.

    + Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs in accordance with project plans and specifications adhering to industry standards and best practices.

    + Proactively qualify new opportunities.

    + System layout and design according to project bid documents, as well as industry and code requirements.

    + Collaborate closely with sales and operation teams to validate estimates and ensure accuracy.

    + Participate in sales meetings and training seminars.

    Requirements

    + A strong attention to detail, ensuring the precision and reliability of estimates and proposals.

    + Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software tools, leveraging technology to streamline technical takeoff processes and enhance productivity.

    + Possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

    + Exhibit effective communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and customers.

    + Ability to collaborate seamlessly with Sales Executives, providing technical expertise and support to drive successful sales outcomes.

    + Previous experience in the building automation or electrical sector is preferred, reflecting a deep understanding of industry dynamics and requirements.

     

    Salary Range: $80k-$100k DOE.
