In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge hardware accelerator IPs.

    Required Skills:

    ASIC IP Design Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

    1. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of ASIC design engineers, hiring, training, and guidance to ensure on-time and on-budget product delivery.

    2. Design Planning and Execution: Drive RTL design planning and execution, design methodology development, IP design, and SOC integration for Audio, Computer Vision, and Image Processing hardware accelerator IPs.

    3. Collaboration: Participate in silicon architecture and micro-architecture development, and interface with Architecture, SW/FW, Verification, Modelling, Emulation, and Post-Silicon Validation teams.

    4. IP Development: Collaborate with IP development teams and participate in soft and hard IP identification, selection, and IP licensing.

    5. Vendor Management: Analyze, review, and contribute to SOWs from vendors, supporting documentation, and requirements sets that meet internal customer needs.

    6. Performance Metrics: Define, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) for areas of responsibility.

    7. External Partnerships: Partner with technical program management and supply chain team members to manage external development partners, suppliers, and vendors.

    8. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including executives, team managers, and individual contributors.

    9. Innovation: Foster innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and approaches to design and development.

    10. Define, implement, and maintain key performance indicators for areas of responsibility.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    11. 10+ years of experience in ASIC design and development

    12. Proven track record of leading and managing teams

    13. Technical experience in RTL design, u-Arch, IP design, and SOC integration

    14. Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills

    15. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including architecture, SW/FW, verification, modeling, emulation, and post-silicon validation teams

    16. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

    17. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field

    19. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in ASIC design and development

    20. Experience with agile development methodologies

    21. Certification in project management or a related field

    Public Compensation:

    $173,000/year to $249,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
