Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is primarily focused on supervising the accounting functions of our operations and ensuring the precision and efficiency of our financial data and transactions.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the processing of incoming regional event reports and ensuring the validation of reported sales amounts.

• Establishing and maintaining accurate sales and accounting records.

• Conducting thorough analysis and validation of event income receipts and expenses.

• Identifying and interpreting anomalies in financial reporting.

• Managing the tracking of 1099 and year-end form generation.

• Maintaining precision in database entry.

• Providing assistance to customers in a detail oriented and composed manner.

• Handling projects as directed by the management.

• Ensuring the maintenance of office files.

• Supervising the processing and distribution of daily mail, both incoming and outgoing.

• Assisting in HR responsibilities.

• Managing payroll processing and reporting.

• Supervising payroll taxes at both Federal & State levels.

• Handling monthly and quarterly excise tax reporting.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for managing financial data effectively.

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial for efficient business process management.

• Mastery of Accounting Functions is necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage the company's financial obligations and receivables.

• Expertise in Auditing is essential to ensure the correctness and legality of financial records.

• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively to ensure timely invoicing and payments.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite is required for efficient financial management and reporting.

• Skill in maintaining accurate financial records is necessary for clear and reliable reporting.

• Knowledge of Form 1099 preparation and submission is required for tax compliance.

• Experience in managing Payroll and understanding of Payroll Taxes is crucial for employee compensation management.

• Knowledge of Excise Tax and Tax Reporting is required for accurate tax calculation and submission.

• Strong Leadership Skills are necessary to lead and manage the accounting team effectively.

• Experience in Process Improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
