    Job Summary

    Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Great opportunity to practice community-based, hospital medicine in an academic system.

    Job Duties

    + 7on/7off schedule

    + Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above

    + Level III NICU onsite

    + AP support in the nursery

    + Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED

    + Receive consults from other services on admitted patients

    + Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students

    Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

    Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
