    Working in NVIDIA's Circuit Design Engineering team, you will be contributing in the area of Circuit Methodology. Circuit simulator qualification and 3rd party (EDA) tool evaluation/integration will be emphasized to help our circuit design team achieve higher design quality, efficiency, and decision enablement in complex design scenarios.

    What you’ll be doing:

    + Qualification and regression testing of circuit simulator performance/functionality across different platforms and environments and developing a flow to standardize this process.

    + You'll partner with IT and HW Infrastructure teams on evaluation of new hardware to help drive purchasing decisions.

    + You'll work with EDA vendors on evaluating new tools to benefit circuit design QoR.

    + You'll develop and own new EDA tool workflows, that will involve architecting, implementing, advertising (in-house), and maintenance of new EDA tool workflows.

    + Help promote NVIDIA ideas to help steer EDA tool development.

    + Review past problem cases and address issues with innovative procedures or infrastructure improvements.

    + Drive the incorporation of AI algorithms into workflows to increase productivity

    What we need to see:

    + BSEE, BSCE or equivalent experience.

    + You have proven experience with transient simulators like: ALPS, HSPICE, PrimeSim, Spectre/Spectre X is required

    + Good programming skills with Python and Perl is a must

    + 6+ years of working experience related to Circuit Design methodology using Cadence/Synopsys based system and tools (Virtuoso/Custom Compiler, respectively).

    Ways to stand out from the crowd:

    + Previous design experience is a huge plus.

    + Familiarity with Cadence ADE Assembler is a big plus.

    + Exposure to and experience with AI algorithms/flows is a significant benefit

    The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
