Description We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the civil defense litigation sector. The role is based in Springfield, Missouri, United States and involves representing insurance companies, insureds, and corporate clients in various legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters by providing aggressive legal defense that is tailored to each case

• Utilize case management software to manage cases in an efficient and organized manner

• Perform comprehensive legal research to develop strategic arguments and well-reasoned strategies

• Draft, prepare and manage legal pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions and other litigation-related documents

• Use your negotiation skills to secure favorable resolutions for clients, including settlement discussions when appropriate

• Engage in civil court appearances and represent clients effectively

• Utilize document management systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal proceedings

• Demonstrate proficiency in using billing software for attorneys to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping

• Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a case team, ensuring that critical tasks are completed and deadlines are met

• Leverage your skills in insurance defense litigation to provide the best possible legal defense for clients. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role as Attorney/Lawyer

• Proficiency in Case Management Software

• Demonstrated ability in Document Management

• Experience in briefing cases effectively

• Knowledge and experience in Civil Litigation

• Familiarity with Defense Litigation

• Proficient in Insurance Defense Litigation

• Experience with Billing Software for Attorneys

• Must be a Licensed Attorney

• Proven track record in drafting pleadings

• Experience with Legal Pleadings

• Proficient in preparing pleadings

• Previous court appearances, preferably in a Civil Court setting
