Job Description

This position will directly support the Installation SATAF Lead and AFGSC/A10 Directorate as they lead the Sentinel weapon system deployment with the test capabilities at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Ca, for the next generation ICBM. Duties will include coordinating and assisting a team of engineers, program managers, and weapon system subject matter experts as they provide professional advice and support to AFGSC, Sentinel SPO and ICBM leaders on all ICBM deployment and test capability development at Vandenberg. Areas of knowledge/responsibility that fall under the Installation Team include:

+ Advises, collects and reports on Sentinel construction metrics/activities to the SATAF leadership

+ Coordinates with Vandenberg installation offices on SATAF project planning/programming activities

+ Participates in construction meetings, and monitors Sentinel related construction progress in partnership with the Sentinel Program Office

+ Monitors change orders requiring AFGSC coordination

+ Coordinates notifications and reprogramming actions requiring SATAF/AFGSC approval

+ Assists in coordination of facility fit out, contractor to government handover and project completion

+ Assist organization and facilitation of transition planning events involving MMIII D3/SATAF/Sentinel

Candidates will be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for:

+ ICBM Transition and Deployment Schedule Management

+ ICBM Transition and Deployment Risk Management

+ Mission Integration Management

+ ICBM Enterprise Management

_Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status._

_This position is only located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Due to the special-access classified working environment, the majority of work is performed on-site with somewhat limited opportunities for telework (less than 15% of weekly hours)._

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Minimum 7 years of experience in direct program/project management

+ Ability to identify, establish and cultivate important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders internal and external to the USAF, including AFGSC, AFMC, AFNWC, 20 AF internally, and Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, and contractor personnel externally.

+ Knowledge of Government contracting, construction and current acquisition processes.

+ Demonstrated advanced writing, communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ **Bachelor's/Master's degrees in relative areas.**

+ **Leadership experience overseeing a team of employees is highly desirable.**

+ **Ability to coach and mentor team members to achieve their career goals and satisfy customer performance expectations is highly desirable.**

+ **Familiarity with, or willingness to rapidly learn, complex schedule management principles is a plus.**

+ **PMP certification, and understanding of agile program management tools.**

+ **10 years of experience with DoD installation/mission modernization activities.**

+ **5 years of experience with technical project management.**

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
