    Southern Indiana OBGYN is looking for a passionate, full-time, Board-certified or Board-eligible OBGYN Physician to join our vibrant team at the Southern Indiana OB/GYN clinic.     The Family and Baby-Friendly Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Hospital provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. Each LDRP room is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.

     

    Opportunity Highlights

    Anticipated Work Schedule & Support:

    + Full-Time

    + Weekly call coverage for our practice (24 hour time period) x 1-2 depending on vacation schedules, plus every 7th weekend.

    + 3 physicians, 3 Certified Nurse Midwives, 2 NPs (1 FT, 1 PT). One CNM is office-based working specifically with high-risk OB patients and managing work-in patients. One of our NP’s is working one day per week.

    + 17 bed Birthing Center supported by nurses cross-trained to provide labor/delivery, postpartum, & newborn care

    Special Skills/Procedures Required : Experienced certified nurse midwife who has collaborated with a physician in an OBGYN physician in a previous role. The CNM will have their own panel of patients but will also work as an extender to the physicians of the practice.

    Southern Indiana OBGYN began in 1996 to help address the community need for additional OBGYN providers. Our practice has grown from two physicians in 1996 to eight providers (3 physicians and 5 APP’s) in 2025. We serve over 400 patients per week in our clinic.
