    WSP is currently initiating a search for a **CEI Inspector** for our Tampa office. Be involved in projects with our **CM Team** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

    Your Impact:

    Job Description:

    + Monitoring on-site construction activities

    + Inspecting ( sampling and testing ) materials in accordance with client’s scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions)

    + Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events

    + Preparing inspection reports ( Daily Work Reports )

    + Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client’s requirements)

    + Transporting samples to be tested in a Department laboratory or appropriate facility

    + Fulfilling other duties as needed

    + Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)

    + Responsible for assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties

     

    Who You Are

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction inspection experience.

    + Valid Drivers License

    + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

    + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

    + Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I

    + CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I

    + CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I

    + CTQP Pile Driving Inspection

    + CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)

    + IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level I

    + CTQP Final Estimates Level I

    + FDOT Intermediate MOT

    + Nuclear Radiation Safety

    + Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification

    + Program for Inspectors and Contractors

    + PCC Paving Inspection (TC3)

     

    Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
