We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Elementary Teacher to join our roster of Tutors. Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one instruction to students with special needs, focusing on areas such as reading, writing, math, and social skills. - Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. - Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed. - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop appropriate support plans and interventions. - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and supported. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field or Certified Teacher with previous experience working with SPED student. - Previous experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning disabilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
