13098BRJob Description:U. S. Steel is seeking an IT Intern for our Research Division in Munhall, PA. This position will work with our Automotive Solutions - Global Product Development and Engineering in Research & Technology focusing on creating a World Class Organization.
This position will:
+ Participate in application development training as needed, dependent upon the application area assigned, and apply training to work assignments.
+ Work as an integral member of a team to support systems on a variety of computing platforms with various programming languages including testing and documentation.
+ Write custom programs as required for software implementation, application interfaces, reports and inquiry screens in line with business and technical specifications provided, including full stack programming.
+ Work independently and with minimal direction in the areas of application software maintenance and development, analysis, and troubleshooting per customer requests.
+ Daily interaction with team members, internal business units, and external customers.
Job Requirements:
+ Candidates must maintain a 3.0 or higher overall GPA
+ Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any IT related field.
+ Candidates must have completed or be working towards completion of their sophomore year and be in good academic standing.
