Job Details:

Assists the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists in daily operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Assist with management of inventory, i.e., stocking, receiving.

+ Accurately fill patient cassettes from cart fill list.

+ Pick up physicians orders and deliver medications and supplies on a routine basis.

+ Prepare IV admixture according to departmental policy and procedure.

+ Enter patient charges and credit into hospital data system on a daily basis.

+ Perform monthly inspections for all areas of the hospital where medications are stored.

+ Assist in development of pharmacy goals and participate in reaching these goals.

+ Regularly check pharmacy stock for outdates.

+ Assist in the dispensing of employee prescriptions and OTC’s.

+ Assume general clerical duties.

+ Performs any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE

+ No experience necessary, certification by PTCB preferred

EDUCATION

+ High School Graduate
