What You'll Do

We’re looking for an Assistant Director of Enterprise Architecture to join our Worksite Personal Investing team. As we embark on building an innovative greenfield platform, we are seeking an experienced **Technical Architect** to design and lead the development of this transformative initiative.

+ Design and define the greenfield architecture for a next-generation wealth management platform.

+ Evaluate and select the most suitable technology stack and frameworks for the project.

+ Develop a robust, modular, and scalable architecture that supports real-time data processing, security, and high availability.

+ Work closely with engineering teams to support the implementation of the architecture, ensuring consistency with established practices and standards.

+ Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.

+ Lead technical workshops and discussions to ensure cross-team alignment on architectural decisions.

+ Identify and address technical challenges, such as integration with legacy systems, API development, and cloud deployment strategies.

+ Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in wealth management and fintech to ensure the platform remains innovative.

+ Define technical standards, code quality guidelines, and documentation requirements for the greenfield project.

+ Conduct architecture reviews, provide mentorship to developers, and ensure delivery excellence.

Who You Are

+ You have a Bachelor’s degree or related experience and 10+ years of experience with a multi-business unit global organization

+ You have proven experience as a Technical Architect, particularly in **greenfield architecture projects**

+ You are an expert in designing and implementing microservices architectures, cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and API-driven systems.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

+ Experience working in wealth management or investment platforms, including exposure to portfolio management, risk analytics, or regulatory compliance.

+ Knowledge of event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$137000 - $185000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
