Job Summary

The District Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple corporate dining locations within an assigned district. This role ensures high-quality food service, operational efficiency, and financial success while upholding company standards and client satisfaction. The District Operations Manager leads and supports unit managers, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, food safety regulations, and customer service expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operational Leadership: Supervise and support multiple corporate dining locations, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to company policies, and consistent service excellence.

+ Financial Management: Oversee budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to drive profitability. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.

+ Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, addressing concerns and implementing service enhancements to meet their needs.

+ Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor unit managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.

+ Quality and Compliance: Ensure all locations adhere to food safety standards, health regulations, and company quality guidelines. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

+ Menu and Program Execution: Collaborate with culinary teams to develop and implement menus that align with client preferences, dietary needs, and company objectives.

+ Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as food cost, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.

+ Innovation and Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Associate’s degree and a minimum of three years related experience

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data

+ Excellent presentation skills required

+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
