Back of House Worker – St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany NY
About the Role
St. Peter’s Hospital is hiring a **Back of House Worker** to join our **healthcare kitchen team** . Help create **fresh, high-quality meals** that redefine hospital food while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen. We are committed to a **healthy work-life balance** and providing **fresh, nutritious meals** for both our team and those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in preparing **nutritious, non-traditional hospital meals**
+ Maintain **kitchen cleanliness and food safety** standards
+ Support food prep, dishwashing, and storage
+ Work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations
+ Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct
Qualifications
+ **Kitchen or food service experience** (preferred, not required)
+ Strong **teamwork, communication, and attention to detail**
+ Ability to **work efficiently in a fast-paced setting**
+ Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6’th grade level
+ Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills

Pay Range:$16.20-$19.35
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
