Job Description:
The Director of Audiology Clinical Operations at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders will be responsible for all clinical service activities in the Callier Audiology Clinic including overseeing scheduling, insurance and financial analyses for the clinic in collaboration with the Director of Business Operations and the Director of Administrative Operations and Compliance . The Director will participate in clinical teaching of AuD students in the Callier Clinic and may teach in the AuD Academic Program. The Director will also consult with Callier Center Leadership, including the Senior Director of Development on fund raising, clinical grant writing and marketing strategies for the audiology program. The successful candidate must be eligible for or hold a Texas License in Audiology. The Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC -A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association ( ASHA ) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology ( ABA ) is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree or in closely related field. Holds current Audiology license in the state of Texas or can obtain by the date of hire. Eight (8) years of progressive clinical experience as a licensed Audiologist, at least three (3) of which must include being the direct supervisor of other licensed clinical Audiologists.
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ 9 years of clinical experience in providing audiology services.
+ 3 years of progressively responsible leadership or administrative experience.
+ The Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC -A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association ( ASHA ) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology ( ABA ) is preferred.
