Summary:

Maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain cleaning and sanitation in accordance with the company Master Sanitation Program

+ Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floor, and equipment

+ Utilize refuse and sanitation tools in a proper and safe manner

+ Removal of debris from processing area

+ Communicate chemicals supply levels to management

+ Observe and record facility conditions to ensure all areas are within company and regulatory specifications

+ Verify the adequacy of cleaning and sanitation performed on areas and equipment and complete and sign off on appropriate forms

+ Document actions taken in response to unsatisfactory observations on Equipment, Utensils, and/or Process Area conditions

+ Complete testing when applicable

+ Maintain plant safety

+ Maintain and proper use of equipment

+ Work independently with minimal supervision

+ Provide back up support for other duties as needed

+ Become certified as an electric pallet jack and forklift operator

+ Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Preferred:

+ Experience with the utilization of sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and the safe operation of fork lifts and powered pallet jacks

Pay:   $19.00 per hour
