    Job Overview:

    The Lead APP for neurosurgery is responsible for clinical leadership, operational management and professional development of APPs within the neurosurgery dept.

    Job Requirements:

    + Masters prepared in Nursing from an accredited program

    + Advanced Practice Nurse License via the New Jersey State Board of Nursing

    + Maintain National Certification AANP or ANCC

    + Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey

    + CDS and DEA license

    + BLS and ACLS.

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full time

    + 40 Hours

    Essential Functions:

    + This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while optimizing APP workflows,

    + Monitors APPs productivity and workload distribution

    + promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and driving quality improvement initiatives .

    + APP Supervision, oversees recruitment, onboarding, training and mentorship of new APPs .

    + Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback and facilitates professional growth .

    + Operational Workflow, collaborate with neurosurgeons and hospital leadership to optimize scheduling, coverage and workload distribution

    + Quality Improvement and Research

    + Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
