    Summary of Role

     

    This role sits within the Strategic Finance and Operations (SF&O) team at GlobalFoundries. The SF&O team understands complex and dynamic Financial Operations models and translates them to business impact for GlobalFoundries.

     

    + Interaction with various teams and functions to develop well-rounded knowledge of the business

    + Guiding the business units through dynamic and complex monthly and quarterly financial analysis

    + High touch with executive leaders including formal mentorship

    + Ability to quickly build and leverage an internal network

    Job Responsibilities

    + Assist in Budget, financial research, Monthly forecast & actual readouts to assist the team in meeting their Operational and Capital Expense Plans.

    + Assist and drive Projects associated with our Strategic Finance Objectives for R&D

    + Streamline and Digitize Processes to build efficiencies and lower costs

    + Develops, implements and/or maintains the financial plans and policies of the organization.

    + Develops, implements and maintains the financial plans and policies of the organization.

    + Assesses the financial impact of key business decisions, including operating expense planning, capital allocation, cost/pricing initiatives, and others for both the mid- and long-range planning horizons

    + Monitors financial performance through analyzing and reporting variances to forecasts

    + Establishes fiscal controls, prepares financial reports, maintains strong relationships with product management and site finance teams

    + Performs a variety of financial planning & analysis activities

    + Conducts significant ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made to achieve operational and financial objectives

    + Increases organizational productivity by working with internal partners to develop repeatable business processes

    + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

    + Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed

    Requirements Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Mathematics

    + 4-5+ years of work experience with Bachelors degree in relevant professional environments, such as top semiconductor, technology, research organizations or corporate business development functions

    + Project Management

    + Presentations

    + Fluent in English (written and verbal); Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Self-driven personality with exceptional analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quickly

    + Proficiency in MS Office Suite – data analytics and modeling in Excel and presentation/visualization in PPT

    + Geographically located to work from GlobalFoundries offices in Austin Texas

    + Ability to work across time zones with global teams in US, Europe, and Asia

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's of Science with 4-5 years experience

    + Professional experience working in the semiconductor industry

    + Skill in using Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization .

     

    Expected Salary Range

     

    $66,800.00 - $120,700.00

     

    The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
