Job Description:

SICU APP (NP/PA) - Lahey Hospital & Medical Center

Burlington, MA

About Us:

+ 24-bed Surgical ICU (Level 1 Trauma).

+ Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary care hospital.

+ Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents.

+ Diverse patient population: Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic.

Your Responsibilities:

+ Direct care of critically ill surgical patients.

+ Ventilator management, resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring.

+ Mechanical circulatory support, vasopressor/inotrope use.

+ Invasive line placement (arterial, central).

+ Rotation between Surgical ICU and Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU.

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.

+ Critical Care Fellowship (preferred).

+ Must be able to work nights and weekends.

+ PA/NP MA license
