Seeking a licensed midwife to care for the health needs of women throughout their life span. The licensed midwife/ NP provides well woman health care including: gynecologic and care during pregnancy and childbirth.Provides well woman healthcare across the lifespan including gynecologic and obstetric care.

Certified Nurse Midwife Hiring range: $103,994-$132,160

Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience

Responsibilities:

+ Annual exams including gynecological care, health screening and counseling with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention

+ History and physical examinations

+ Family planning and Pre-conception counseling

+ Well woman and adolescent gynecological care

+ Perimenopausal and postmenopausal counseling and care

+ Comprehensive maternity care including prenatal, labor, delivery & postpartum care

+ Hospital consults, rounds and discharge

+ Obstetric and gynecologic screening procedures

+ Evaluation and treatment of common health problems

+ Public education activities

+ Referral to specialists

Required credentials:

New York State licensed Midwife or NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner with significant OB/GYN experience
